About the role

The Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Claim Prep and File Call Team Representative works with patients and patients' families to verify demographics and insurances including health insurance, first party coverage, and third-party liability. They update patient transport records when updated information is available. They assist patients by answering pre-billing questions and work with team members to meet team goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound call volume
• Identifying patients' needs, clarifying information, and researching issues to provide solutions
• Processing mail
• Skip Tracing

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a call center environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
• Knowledge and experience of computers and related technology at an intermediate level
• Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
• Professional verbal and written skills
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time
