New Pay Rates! Revenue Cycle Analyst / Medical Billing – Orthopedics Team – Albany, NY - FT

Responsibilities
- Maintain quality of claims work queues
- Monitor and resolve Front End, Referrals & Authorizations, and Clinical Workflow
- Review denial/rejection dashboards for trends and provide necessary education
- Ensure all necessary referral documentation is obtained and documented
- Run monthly reports to identify any outbound referrals
- Process inpatient charges submitted by providers
- Enter charges manually and reconcile daily
- Review claims for appropriate information and identify high dollar outstanding balances
- Provide feedback to Revenue Integrity team and answer patient questions
- Adhere to productivity/quality guidelines and communicate effectively with other departments
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in a physician practice or billing office
- Orthopedics Billing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalency required; Associates degree preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail, organization & effective time management
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, related computer programs & general office machines
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of CPK
- Knowledge of CPT, CPTII, and ICD10
- Solid judgment to escalate issues appropriately
Skills
- Coding (a plus)
Pay
Pay Range: $20.20 - $27.47 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
