Revenue Cycle Manager

Major Duties

• Lead the full revenue cycle lifecycle, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, payer contracting, and provider enrollment
• Drive improvements in key metrics such as AR aging, denial rates, and reimbursement timelines
• Establish and monitor performance metrics and ensure accountability for results
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce revenue leakage
• Optimize EHR and billing system workflows
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures

Data Analysis & Financial Insight

• Produce and interpret financial and operational reports
• Identify trends and root causes impacting revenue performance
• Provide actionable recommendations to leadership

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, coach, and develop revenue cycle staff
• Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development
• Ensure staff are trained on billing practices, compliance, and systems

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and applicable federal and Washington State regulations
• Oversee billing audits and corrective actions
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement changes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with clinical, finance, and operations teams to resolve billing issues
• Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue-related inquiries
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including payers

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, billing, and collections
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to improve revenue cycle performance, analyze data, and lead teams
• Working knowledge of EHR systems, Medicaid and managed care reimbursement, and behavioral health billing practices

Guidelines

Requires that the incumbent relies on specialized training and/or equivalent experience and performs duties in accordance with Washington Administrative Codes, Federal regulations governing the confidentiality of patient files, and Lifeline Connections Policy and Procedure Manual.

Physical Demands

• Primarily office-based environment
• Regular use of computers and standard office equipment
• Able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds

Work primarily in an office setting, occasionally requiring extended periods of sitting and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.

Pay

$90,000 - 100,000 Annually
