Revenue Cycle Management Supervisor - Remote

About the role
Supervises Intake and Reimbursement Processes within the revenue cycle center to maintain high-quality service while ensuring timely payment for services provided. Responsible for supervising staff, processes, and productivity for assigned areas, including intake, billing, collections, and cash posting. Works closely with the Manager of Revenue Cycle Management to achieve financial goals and support staff development.
Responsibilities
- Assists Revenue Cycle Manager with monitoring adherence to policies and procedures and performing audits as designated.
- Monitors and evaluates Intake and Reimbursement employee productivity and performance to goal.
- Trains new Revenue Cycle employees and conducts ongoing training and skills assessments.
- Assists revenue cycle staff with day-to-day issues and escalates when necessary to the Revenue Cycle Manager.
- Verifies that all appropriate paperwork is obtained, completed, and accurate prior to billing.
- Assists Intake and Reimbursement employees with escalated issues to maintain high-quality service and ensure payment for services.
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of invoices to the responsible payer for services and products provided.
- Ensures timely and accurate follow-up activity to maintain high-quality service and timely payment.
- Develops, monitors, coaches, and manages staff, fostering employee development through orientation, training, objective-setting, communication of rules, and constructive discipline.
- Builds employee morale, motivation, and loyalty while fostering a team-like environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of related supervisory experience, or 2-5 years of revenue cycle management experience showing demonstrated progression.
Skills
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers, and/or print scaling).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables, and/or adjusting table columns).
- Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, rearranging, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view, and/or running a slide show).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions experience.
Pay
Salary range: $56,714.95 - $94,547.42, determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
