About the role
Develop and support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reporting solutions that support Revenue Cycle operations and core functions.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain DAX measures, calculated fields, and standardized KPIs.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle stakeholders across all functional areas to understand workflows, reporting needs, and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with enterprise data and technology teams to translate business needs into reporting and data requirements, including validation and testing to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery.
- Support and contribute to the integration, validation, and ongoing maintenance of data from multiple EHR and practice management systems, clearinghouse, and vendor reporting systems.
- This includes assisting with data mapping, reconciliation, and standardization of data elements and KPI definitions across service lines and reporting platforms.
- Maintain an understanding of revenue cycle performance trends and key performance indicators.
- Investigate variances, identify data discrepancies or emerging trends, and provide actionable insights to Revenue Cycle and operational leadership to support performance improvement and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management (HIM), or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in healthcare analytics, Revenue Cycle analytics, or business intelligence.
- Experience developing dashboards and datasets using Power BI, including creation of DAX measures and calculated fields.
- Experience working with Revenue Cycle data, including Accounts Receivable, denials, cash collections, adjustments, and AR aging.
- Experience validating and reconciling data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
