About the Role

The Revenue Cycle Associate plays an important role in maintaining the organization’s financial health by supporting the revenue cycle and claims processing functions. This position ensures claims and invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, records are maintained properly, and billing activities comply with applicable requirements. The role also works closely with internal teams to resolve billing issues and support timely reimbursement.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and process claims in the database with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of processed claims and invoices.
  • Review claims and billing activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Support efficient and streamlined billing and revenue cycle processes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to investigate and resolve billing issues.
  • Assist with activities that support timely and accurate reimbursement.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding claims, billing, and payment-related matters.
  • Identify discrepancies and follow established procedures for resolving issues.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with electronic claims processing and/or billing software.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and related productivity tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial and claims information.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in billing and accounting.
  • Preferred: Healthcare industry experience.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with medical billing codes, terminology, and healthcare revenue cycle processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting accuracy and productivity expectations.

Pay

Hourly rate: $22.00 per hour
