Revenue Cycle Analyst

About the role

Healthcare Revenue Group (HRG) has been managing medical billing and revenue cycle for healthcare providers since 1999. We are a small, experienced team based in Overland Park, Kansas, seeking an individual who desires ownership of their accounts rather than a desk job.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of accounts end-to-end, managing accounts receivable, insurance claims, and billing issues.
• Post payments, handle charge entry, and provide direct client support.
• Prepare monthly reports to inform the team’s decision-making process.
• Pitch in on general office tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of medical billing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn new practice management and billing software.
• Dependable, self-motivated, organized under pressure, and able to take ownership of work without constant supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Medical billing and coding knowledge.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Basic understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.

Pay

• $23–$26 per hour.

Schedule

• Five 8-hour days on-site, Monday through Friday.
• Four 9-hour days on-site, Monday through Thursday, with a 4-hour remote Friday (flexible after 90 days).
