Revenue Audit Assistant Manager
About the Role
Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of the Revenue Audit department. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and providing recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager. Monitors compliance of revenue activities on the property via the exception process to ensure that all relative documentation is completed in compliance with all applicable laws.
Assists in development and implementation of procedural policies for audits, makes corrections or revisions as needed, and cooperates with internal and external auditors as needed. Completes journal entries, reconciles balance sheet accounts, and produces various revenue reports and statistical analysis. Creates financial spreadsheets and updates information on a regular basis. Creates standard operating procedures and makes improvements for suggestions as needed.
Provides professional representation at internal and external meetings and events. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associate’s Degree (A.A. in related field) or 2-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced computer knowledge, including MS Office, CMS, SMS, and Accounting software.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and guests.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, metrics, and legal documents.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Supervisory experience, including staff development, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ability to manage rewards and recognition programs to maximize employee engagement.
- Ability to provide recommendations for staffing, scheduling, and employee performance.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
