Revenue Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY
The Revenue Assistant provides crucial administrative and clerical support for the Business Intelligence Hospitality team and handles tasks such as data entry, processing payments/returns, managing client inquiries, organizing documents, and preparing reports under the direction of the Director of Revenue.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Providing daily/weekly/monthly/yearly reports for/with the Director of Revenue.
- Assisting in analyzing short- and long-term forecasting trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, promotions/specials and strategic sales goals.
- Entering data, updating databases, scanning/filing tax/financial documents, and managing client records.
- Answering phones, responding to guest inquiries, and drafting correspondence about financial/business matters at guidance of Director of Revenue.
- Processing invoices, assisting with document assembly, managing mailings, and handling basic bookkeeping.
- Aid in managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings as needed for direct leadership.
- Supports leadership by keeping the Business Intelligence and Vacation Planning teams informed and aligned of software implementations, projects, internal practices, etc.
- Perform other duties within scope of position as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year experience in hospitality industry/data entry preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, clerical, and computer skills
- Excellent customer service and communication, both written and in person
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with financial terminology
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize assigned tasks with a sense of urgency
- Works proactively, independently and in teams, and demonstrates a professional demeanor while remaining guest-focused

- Regularly walks, sits, stands, and does computer work.
- Seldom/never lifts up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
