Returns Coordinator

About the role

Reporting directly to the Returns Supervisor, the Returns Coordinator is a key position in the distribution and operations organization. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as knowledge of warehouse operations. The Returns Coordinator fills in for the Supervisor when necessary to manage returning trucks from the trade.

Responsibilities

• Planning: Make decisions based on experience and operations planning; ensure that procedures and processes match operational requirements; learn and implement new technology and processes while maintaining productivity.
• Compliance: Reconcile invoices with product going out and coming back into the facility; maintain attention to detail to ensure customer orders match what was sent out or returned.
• Continuous Improvement: Understand and report on applicable metrics for the area.
• Execution: Work quickly and adeptly to move trucks through the check-in process; identify gaps and work cooperatively with the transportation department to address deficiencies in each load.
• Safety: Follow facility safety procedures; report all work-related injuries immediately; provide immediate medical attention to injured employees as necessary; ensure compliance with applicable government regulations.

Qualifications

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Logistics Management).
• 1+ years of operations management experience.
• Supply chain supervisory experience preferred.
• Functional system understanding in WMS, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights, and weekends when required.
• Strong communication skills—verbal, presentation, and writing.
• Warehouse automation experience preferred.

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for this role is $20 per hour to $21 per hour, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.
