Retirement Plan Manager - Hybrid

Duties And Responsibilities

• Administers end-to-end retirement plan operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations governing qualified retirement plans.
• Serves as program owner for retirement plans, providing governance, oversight, and alignment with organizational strategy.
• Promotes effective service delivery and issue resolution with external vendors, including recordkeepers and consultants.
• Collaborates with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate data exchange and consistent processes.
• Led retirement plan design changes, system enhancements, and implementation initiatives.
• Manages retirement governance activities, including committee support, reporting, documentation, and material preparation.
• Serves as escalation point for complex participant issues and drives continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience and/or training may be considered.
• Experience: 4–7 years of experience in retirement plan administration.
• Licenses/Certifications: Certifications preferred: ASPPA, CEBS, ERPA.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of qualified and nonqualified retirement plan administration, including 401(k) structures and related regulatory frameworks (ERISA, IRS, DOL).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret plan data and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to manage vendors and coordinate external retirement service providers.
• Effective communication and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage a complex retirement program and drive process improvements.
