Job Mission
As a part-time Retail Team Lead, you will assist with store operations, drive results, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will lead by example using New Balance's Core Competencies.
Major Accountabilities
- Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
- Be results-driven in achieving store key performance indicators through training and development of associates
- Deliver a great guest experience utilizing the GUEST service model
- Open and close the store
- Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
Requirements for Success
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
- Able to lift 4 lbs. frequently, lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally, kneel or squat frequently, move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary), stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders occasionally, and climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.80 - $26.65 hourly, with actual base pay varying based on experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.
