Retail Team Lead (PT)
About the role
New Balance seeks a part-time Retail Team Lead to assist with store operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate must have at least 18 years of age, 2 years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong leadership and customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies
- Communicate and coach professionally with all associates
- Drive results by achieving store key performance indicators through training and development of associates
- Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model
- Open and close the store
- Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, occasionally lift 8 lbs, kneel/squat frequently, stand for extended periods, climb ladders occasionally, and climb/descend stairs frequently (depending on location)

Pay
Pay Range: $16.65 - $20.85 - $25.00 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
Schedule
Temporary associates are provided three options for medical insurance as well as dental and vision insurance and an associate discount. Part time associates are provided 401k, short term disability, a yearly $300 lifestyle reimbursement and an associate discount.
