About the role

New Balance seeks a part-time Retail Team Lead to join their retail leadership team. The role involves assisting with store operations, driving results, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies
  • Communicate and coach professionally with all associates
  • Train and develop associates to achieve store key performance indicators
  • Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model
  • Open and close the store
  • Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift up to 8 lbs. occasionally, kneel/squat frequently, move up to 50 lbs. (with assistance), stand for extended periods, climb ladders occasionally, and climb/descend stairs frequently (depending on location)

Benefits

  • Potomac Mills, VA Retail Only Pay Range: $17.80 - $22.25 - $26.65 hourly (actual base pay varies)

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.65 hourly (actual base pay varies)
  • Schedule: Flexible, including weekends and holidays
