About the role
As a Supervisor, you will partner with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works. Our store leaders are retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors, and thrive on the connections we make with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
- Lead leadership tasks as delegated by the Store Manager, including acting as Manager on Duty to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.
- Partner with Sales Leadership Team members to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
- Perform opening and closing routines, including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpretation/dissemination of company directives.
- Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
- Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
- Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
- Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
- Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
- Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
- Perform constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting; climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products and maintain store visual appearance; lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
- Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.

Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.
- Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
- Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
- Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and ability to adapt quickly.
- Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
- Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
- Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma, GED certificate, or Relevant Work Experience.
