Retail Supervisor
About the role
The Retail Supervisor assists with supervision and store/donation center operations. They motivate the team to meet customer satisfaction and production standards, support merchandising, and coach customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities.
- Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
- Close supervision for completion of routine work, which is regularly reviewed by manager or senior coworkers.
- Supports the training and coaching of all employees to reach their potential as a highly productive and collaborative members of the team.
- Oversees POS and donations coverage, assists with hiring, and operates as a service experience leader.
- Completes data entry of required reports on time and shares insights with leadership.
- Ensures a safe and orderly work environment and implements policies and procedures.
- Works with Store Management to conduct apprehensions following established loss prevention policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to complete and retain forklift certification.
- Varying schedule and flexible hours; minimum of two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled.
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds, move about to accomplish tasks, and stand for long periods of time.
- Must have a working phone for communication accessibility.

Pay

Schedule
Varying schedule and flexible hours; minimum of two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled. Additional nights and weekend shifts may be required to meet business needs.
