The Retail Supervisor role supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).
About the role
This multi-faceted role is part of Savers, an international thrift retailer with over 300 stores and 22,000 team members. We operate under various brands including Savers, 2nd Ave, Value Village, Unique, Village des Valeurs, and Savers Australia.
Responsibilities
- Support store operations by ensuring customer service standards are met
- Manage inventory levels and ensure stock is organized and accessible
- Train and mentor team members to improve performance and productivity
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of store facilities
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize store operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team
- Knowledge of retail operations and procedures
- Understanding of inventory management and stock control
