Summary And Scope Of The Position
The Retail Supervisor is an entry-level manager who oversees Retail Budtenders and ensures their performance. They manage workflows, schedule employees, assess performance, and handle customer issues.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Keep up with Slack communications and workflow management
- Create and delegate tasks to employees
- Audit employee performance and address areas needing improvement
- Maintain business goals and standards
- Communicate with staff to optimize customer flow and sales
- Train new hires and assist with inventory tasks
- Clean and organize the store
- Monitor employee attendance and conflicts
- Handle customer complaints and adhere to company policies
- Oversee employee tasks and policies
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State issued Driver's License
- At least 21 years old
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug test for all substances, including non-cannabis
- Proficient in data entry and record-keeping
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of customer marijuana policies, laws, and regulations
- Teamwork and conflict resolution skills
- Basic math skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in de-escalation and conflict resolution
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
