Retail Supervisor

Summary And Scope Of The Position

The Retail Supervisor is an entry-level manager who oversees Retail Budtenders and ensures their performance. They manage workflows, schedule employees, assess performance, and handle customer issues.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Keep up with Slack communications and workflow management
• Create and delegate tasks to employees
• Audit employee performance and address areas needing improvement
• Maintain business goals and standards
• Communicate with staff to optimize customer flow and sales
• Train new hires and assist with inventory tasks
• Clean and organize the store
• Monitor employee attendance and conflicts
• Handle customer complaints and adhere to company policies
• Oversee employee tasks and policies

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid State issued Driver's License
• At least 21 years old
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug test for all substances, including non-cannabis
• Proficient in data entry and record-keeping
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of customer marijuana policies, laws, and regulations
• Teamwork and conflict resolution skills
• Basic math skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in de-escalation and conflict resolution
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, holidays, and weekends

Pysical Demands

• Regularly work at a computer and enter data
