Retail Supervisor

About the role

The Retail Supervisor assists with supervision and store/donation center operations. They motivate the team to meet customer satisfaction and production standards, support merchandising efforts, and coach customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities.
  • Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
  • Close supervision for completion of routine work, which is regularly reviewed by manager or senior coworkers.
  • Supports the training and coaching of all employees to reach their potential as a highly productive and collaborative members of the team.
  • Oversees POS and donations coverage, assists with hiring, and operates as a service experience leader.
  • Completes data entry of required reports on time, shares insights, and implements policies.
  • Ensures a safe and orderly work environment, maintains equipment safety, and follows loss prevention policies.

Requirements

  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to complete and retain forklift certification.
  • Variety of schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Working phone for communication accessibility.

  • Basic knowledge of customer service.
  • Forklift certification.
