Retail Supervisor
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Supervise and train store staff
- Open and close the store in the absence of the Store or Assistant Manager
- Aid in procedures related to the cash registers, returns, and cash handling
- Deliver good customer service
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Appropriately handle customer concerns/complaints
- Stock and return merchandise per company directive
- Maintain the overall appearance of the store, directing staff as needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid MI Driver's License
- One year of retail or general customer service, keyholder preferred
- Ability to use cash register and follow Goodwill policy and procedures
- Must have telephone access
- Must demonstrate strong management skills
- Must be able to lift and carry 35 pounds
- Must be able to reach, bend, or stoop
- Must be able to stand six to eight hours a day
- Must be able to problem solve quickly and efficiently
- Must be pleasant, cheerful, and professional
About the role
The Entry Level Manager will supervise and train store staff, open and close the store, assist with cash register procedures, deliver customer service, maintain a safe environment, stock and return merchandise, and ensure the store's appearance is maintained.
Pay
$17 an hour plus 20% discount on in-store purchases. Monthly Bonus Potential!
