Retail Supervisor

About the role

The Retail Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of retail stores on Golden Nugget properties. In addition to supervisory duties, they assist customers with product selection, drive sales through engagement and product knowledge, greet customers warmly, and respond to customer questions.

Responsibilities

• Assists Retail Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of all retail shops and vending.
• Handles hiring, training, and scheduling of retail and vending staff.
• Responsible for daily ordering for gift shops and vending.
• Directly supervises all Retail Sales Representatives and Retail Stock Persons.
• Delivers positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and employees.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum three (3) years of retail experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to handle ordering and inventory.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

USD $14.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr. (Tipped Position – this position does not earn tips).
