Retail Store Team Leader (Part-Time) - Garden State Plaza, Paramus, NJ

Maximize profitable sales through regular review of sales and margin information while fostering a shared sense of responsibility and pride in the LEGO® Brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring effective space management techniques are utilized.
• Maintain the store graphics system (including pricing) with a focus on customer service and maximizing profitable sales.
• Ensure all fixtures are always replenished.
• Evaluate and communicate competitor visual merchandising techniques to identify business development opportunities.
• Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines.
• Motivate and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values.
• Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand Values.
• Provide leadership and management in a retail store environment, including employee training, facilitating meetings, and delivering feedback.
• Use voice amplifiers, headsets, earpieces, and/or microphones as needed.
• Drive top-line sales through effective floor leadership and people development.
• Execute effective floor leadership and strategic planning to achieve store goals.
• Elevate the guest experience through merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising.
• Handle cash, inventory, and sales auditing.
• Operate point-of-sale automated systems.
• Perform traffic counting duties outside the store.

Requirements

• Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.
• Ability to use voice amplifiers, headsets, earpieces, and/or microphones.
• Physical ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must provide availability to work up to 20 hours per week.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $21.45 to $22.85, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
