Retail Store Team Leader (Part-Time) - Flatiron District, NY
About the role

We are seeking a Team Leader for LEGO® Brand Retail who can motivate, energize, and inspire others to outstanding performance while cultivating a positive, team-oriented, safety-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Maximize profitable sales by reviewing sales and margin information regularly
- Ensure appropriate and effective space management techniques are utilized
- Maintain the Store graphics system (including pricing) effectively, focusing on customer service and profitable sales
- Evaluate and communicate competitor visual merchandising techniques, identifying opportunities to enhance our business
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines
- Motivate and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values
- Deliver Inspirational Retail Experiences built on LEGO Brand Values
Requirements
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment
- Delivery of employee training, facilitating meetings, and delivering feedback
- Ability to use voice amplifiers, headsets, earpieces, and/or microphones
- Execute effective floor leadership, cash handling, and inventory/sales auditing
- Use point of sale automated systems to ensure stores' goals are achieved through smart actions and strategic planning
- Elevate the guest experience through merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising
Qualifications
- Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week

- Experience with point of sale systems

Pay
The hourly wage for the position ranges from $22.07 to $23.07 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of any benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
Schedule
You may be available to work up to 20 hours per week.
