Retail Store Team Leader (Part-Time) - Garden State Plaza, Paramus, NJ
About the role

We are seeking a Team Leader for LEGO® Brand Retail to lead and inspire a high-performance team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and execute strategic plans to achieve store goals.
Responsibilities
- Maximize profitable sales by reviewing and analyzing sales and margin data
- Ensure appropriate and effective space management techniques are utilized
- Maintain and optimize the Store graphics system, focusing on customer service and sales
- Evaluate and communicate competitor visual merchandising techniques to enhance our offerings
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines
- Motivate and develop a high-performing team through regular feedback and coaching
- Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand values
- Execute effective floor leadership, driving top-line sales and people development
- Elevate the guest experience through merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising
- Perform traffic counting duties as needed
Requirements
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment
- Ability to use voice amplifiers, headsets, earpieces, and microphones
- Ability to drive top-line sales through effective floor leadership and people development
- Execute effective floor leadership, cash handling, and inventory/sales auditing
- Knowledge of point of sale automated systems
- Physical requirements: constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders; vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment; ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

Pay
The hourly wage for the position ranges from $21.45 to $22.85 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of any benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
Schedule
Flexibility is key, with the ability to work up to 20 hours per week. Availability is required, but not necessarily scheduled.
