About The Role
Be a Store Manager for our Uniform Advantage store location in West Columbia, SC! We help nurses, therapists, veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals feel comfortable and look great as they work. This is your chance to be hero-adjacent—thinking big on strategic goals and managing the day-to-day operations of our retail store. Building relationships with customers and your team, providing exceptional service, generating sales, and growing the business.
Pay
Base pay plus commission! Monthly Bonus Opportunity: Earn up to an extra $750 per month! Quarterly Bonus Opportunity and other incentives!
Schedule
Full-timers work 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Create an exceptional experience for every customer and build lasting relationships that keep them coming back.
- Lead, coach, and develop your team—set clear goals, recognize great performance, and provide consistent feedback to help employees grow.
- Own your store’s sales performance and motivate your team to achieve and exceed goals.
- Run the business efficiently by managing payroll, expenses, inventory, and other key store operations.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop a high-performing team.
- Partner with Retail Purchasing to ensure your store carries the products your customers want.
- Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming store.
- Protect the business by following Loss Prevention procedures and maintaining operational standards.
- Use sales trends and store performance to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results.
- Build relationships in the local community by visiting key accounts and developing new business.
- Handle other store leadership responsibilities, including bank deposits and occasional local travel.
Requirements
- Supervisory skills, including strong organizational and professional communications.
- Self-starter: detail-oriented and eager to follow through promptly.
- Multi-tasker: handle multiple customers and projects at once.
- Windows savvy: training on internal POS will be provided.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency (knowledge of Excel a plus), 40+ wpm typing speed.
- Flexibility to accommodate opening or closing shifts.
- Successful completion of criminal background check and online assessment.
- A valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
- Must be 18 or over with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous managerial experience.
Physical Demands
- Walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Use hands and arms to reach for and handle merchandise, boxes, cleaning supplies, and other items.
- Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
- Safety measures to help protect staff and customers through COVID-19.
- Occasionally work offsite at “pop-up” stores at client hospitals or offices.
