Retail Store Designer - Global Retail Design
About the role
Rose International is seeking a Retail Store Designer to join their Global Retail Design team. The ideal candidate will translate global design standards and creative concepts into store-specific layouts and design solutions across international locations and travel retail spaces, ensuring design consistency and adherence to local codes and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop floor plans, storefront elevations, 3D models, renderings, and other materials to support design solutions while adhering to overall design guidelines and brand strategy.
- Demonstrate a working level of business knowledge and current design trends.
- Direct, manage, and partner with third-party consultants for completion of design packages.
- Review drawing sets for adherence to design standards and accuracy.
- Cookordination with internal and external partners to assure project completion within schedule and budget.
- Respond quickly to changing business conditions, new design prototypes, or material developments.
- Prepare presentation materials and make internal presentations to cross-functional teams.
- Partner with construction, purchasing, visual merchandising, and store operations to deliver functional, on-brand design.
- Advocate for design integrity.
- Review and approve shop drawings as needed.
- Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues that can impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity.
- Manage multiple projects at varying phases of life cycle at once.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of design experience working on retail projects, some international experience recommended.
- Must have technical expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, BlueBeam, Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Proficient in 3D modeling, sketching, rendering and presentation skills to communicate ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create, read and review drawings and details.
- Maintain knowledge of new materials and design techniques through industry publications and activity.
- Desire to be a part of a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Highly organized and strong communicator.
- Show agility and flexibility, be responsive to change and feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.

Min Hourly Rate($): 40.00

Schedule
Work Model Details: 3 days onsite per week. Shift: 9AM to 5PM EST
