About the role

As the face of our company, the RoadDog Store Associate is vital to our business success. You are responsible for the sale of fuel and other in-store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and assisting in overall store operations while prioritizing excellent customer service. This position also supports the kitchen. All shifts are available for both Part-Time and Full-Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each customer receives excellent service by greeting and acknowledging them.
• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience.
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc.
• Follow all city, county, and state regulations and procedures regarding the sale of tobacco products, lottery tickets, and alcohol.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of merchandise; restock and front merchandise as needed.
• Assist with general store operations as needed by the store manager and ensure the overall security of the facility.
• Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders; use the Point of Sale system/cash register.
• Assist with stocking products and supplies.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the cooler.

Requirements

• Experience operating a cash register with high levels of accuracy in cash handling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers of varying demeanors.
• Ability to assess situations and make logical decisions.
• Quality personality; we want to build a team that enjoys spending time together.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a good work ethic.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead.
