About the role
A day in the life of a Logistics Processor includes receiving, processing, and delivering merchandise while maintaining high standards of quality and organization.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload freight, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
- Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards.
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
- Provide general support to the store, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, handling markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
Requirements
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using a variety of technology and new computer applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
- Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Handling bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $15.60 - $16.20. Pay offers are dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Commission for selling employees varies based on merchandise sold. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive 3% commission.
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
