Retail Sr. Store Associate - COPY & PRINT DEPARTMENT

About the role

The Retail Sr. Store Associate-Part Time plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales at Office Depot. This position requires a high level of expertise in print and technology products, strong customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customers, promoting the best solutions and additional products/services.
• Maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked store environment according to company guidelines.
• Follow established sorting and stocking guidelines, and ensure proper freight processes are completed.
• Scan, investigate, and fill inventory lows and outs daily.
• Continuously develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through advanced training and ongoing education.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and support loss prevention efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous retail sales experience required, but prior experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and G-Mail.
• Ability to use a POS register system and process inventory accurately.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Enthusiasm for sales and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation and utilize training tools.
• Knowledge of print and technology products/services through advanced training and continued education.
