Retail Service Representative

About the role
As a Retail Field Service Rep at Galls, you will be responsible for all service-related items within an assigned territory. Service-related activities for all size customers within the territory will include but are not limited to fittings events for ballistic vests, uniforms, other products, and delivering completed uniforms to agencies with delivery requirements. When you are not working in the field, you will be assisting with retail operations in the branch (store) location.
Monday – Friday Day Shift
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Branch Manager, Outside Sales Executives, Inside Sales Account Representatives, and other Galls teams in assigned territory to schedule on-site fittings or other customer-related activities
- Work within the store (branch) when not performing retail field tasks
- Stock vehicle with necessary equipment on a weekly or periodic basis
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Travel extensively for customer appointments, including some overnight travel
- Work with manufacturer’s representatives from the vendor community
- Provide information to Galls branch locations in territory to enable strong customer service
- Maintain active involvement with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Assist customers in Branch when not performing Branch Service Rep responsibilities
- Eventually pick up some Sales capacity in the future state of the role
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Requirements
- General knowledge of Galls business and product categories preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage territory – strong time-management and drive required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail; must be able to multi-task
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Proficient in internet and Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel
