Retail Security Site Supervisor

About the role

The Retail Security Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel at client sites. This position ensures compliance with post orders, completes rounds, and files required reports. In emergency situations, the supervisor notifies proper authorities and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and other company personnel.
• Train Security Officers and other company personnel.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service.
• Perform access control duties and asset protection.
• Handle various weather conditions and may perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or completion of the GED program within 6 months.
• Above average computer and technology skills.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Two years of supervisor experience in a customer service role or previous security experience.
• A flexible schedule that includes 1st and 2nd shifts, weekends, and willingness to adjust schedule as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently.
