Retail Salesperson

About the role

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) operates more than 2,200 company-owned stores across North America, including Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus and Wheel Works locations. As an Automotive Retail Salesperson, you will provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone, meet and exceed customer needs, and contribute to the growth and success of our business in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a motivated sales individual
• Build customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Merchandise, advertise and promote products and services
• Respond energetically to every customer, on the phone and in the store
• Conduct transaction procedures with precision and efficiency
• Promote automotive services and establish clear time commitments between technicians and customers for service appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Desire to succeed in a retail environment
• 2 years of consumer retail sales experience
• Ability to communicate with and assist customers in the areas of sales and complaints to ensure customer retention and loyalty
• Problem solving skills as they relate to customer complaints
• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles

Pay

$16.80 – $25.10 per hour. Bridgestone is committed to fair and lawful compensation practices. All employees receive pay that meets or exceeds the applicable minimum wage requirements.
