Retail Sales - Women's Apparel - NorthPark Center

The ideal Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and has the ability to cultivate and grow a customer following, both digitally and in‑store.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in‑store and digital selling, using selling tools such as text and social media
• Build lasting relationships with customers and provide service on their terms
• Offer honest, confident feedback about style and fit
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise
• Work with the team to keep the department customer‑ready, including filling orders, stocking, re‑merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Flexibly perform duties in other departments as needed

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including reaching overhead
• Regularly lift items up to 10 lb and occasionally up to 25 lb

Pay

$13.25 – $13.25 hourly. Commission varies by merchandise: apparel, shoes, and accessories typically range from 3 % to 14.5 %; beauty and men’s fragrance sales typically receive 3 % commission.
