Retail Sales Supervisor - 7 for All Mankind, Houston Galleria

About the role

Join 7 For All Mankind, the first company to bring premium denim to the market, putting L.A. on the map as the fashion authority on premium denim. As a part-time Sales Supervisor, you will assist the Store Manager with all aspects of day-to-day store operations, including sales, customer service, recruiting, training, profits, and maintaining store standards. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, you will supervise and manage all store personnel, enforce company policies, and ensure operational excellence. This role is key to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving the continued success of our brand.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall store success by meeting sales goals while achieving individual targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by styling and wardrobing customers based on their needs.
• Set the standard for customer engagement that exceeds industry benchmarks.
• Build client relationships and drive sales through outreach and brand excitement.
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to maximize sales productivity.
• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in leading the team, upholding company culture, and enforcing store policies.
• Manage payroll and ensure proper staffing coverage based on business needs.
• Support and execute directives from Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing, ensuring timely communication and completion of deliverables.
• Communicate with management regarding employee relations, daily operations, compliance matters, and personal skill development goals.
• Represent the brand and ensure team members embody it in all customer and peer interactions.
• Enforce Loss Prevention policies and assist with financial audits and inventories to prevent internal and external shortages.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail and/or customer service, with at least 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet performance expectations and operate efficiently under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• High level of initiative and self-motivation.

Special Physical and Mental Requirements

• Repetitive hand motion while operating a cash register or computer.
• Regular interaction with the public in a crowded and noisy store environment.
• Standing required for the entire work shift.
• Ability to operate office equipment (computers, phones, fax machines, scanners, and copiers).
• Must work weekend and night shifts.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds.
