Retail Sales - Shoes - Towson Town Center

Salesperson role focused on fashion and styling, with a strong emphasis on cultivating and growing a customer following both digitally and in-store.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using tools like text and social media
• Build lasting relationships with customers and provide exceptional service tailored to their needs
• Offer honest and confident feedback on style and fit
• Develop fashion and product expertise to enhance customer interactions
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a customer-ready department, including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including lifting above the head
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay

Hourly pay range: $16.25 - $16.25, dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commission varies by merchandise sold (3% to 14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories; 3% for Beauty and Men’s Fragrance). This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.
