Sales role focused on fashion and styling, blending in-store and digital engagement to build and grow a loyal customer base.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using tools like text messaging and social media
• Build lasting customer relationships and deliver personalized service
• Provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit
• Develop fashion and product expertise
• Maintain a customer-ready department through order fulfillment, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow the Nordstrom Rewards program by opening new accounts
• Occasionally support other departments as business needs require

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including lifting above the head
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay

Hourly base pay: $14.25. Commission varies by department—apparel, shoes, and accessories range from 3% to 14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance roles typically earn 3%. Performance-based incentives or bonuses may also apply.
