Retail Sales Manager – Cosmetics & Jewelry

Boscov’s is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Department Manager for Cosmetics & Jewelry to join our growing retail team. In this dynamic leadership role, you will supervise a team of associates, ensuring they build customer relationships and meet shoppers’ needs efficiently. Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in the merchandising and setup of the selling floor to maximize sales and customer service.
• Oversee the cosmetics and fine/fashion jewelry departments and their teams.
• Provide customer service per company standards, including product knowledge of cosmetics and other offerings.
• Complete sales transactions and paperwork accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies.
• Track daily and weekly sales and complete sales reports.
• Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise and ensure proper setup and signage for promotions.
• Manage sales and stock functions, including training and coaching Beauty Advisors and jewelry sales personnel to meet sales goals.
• Attend training sessions held by cosmetics lines as needed.
• Complete weekly schedules in coordination with Human Resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous cosmetics management experience preferred.
• Prior retail sales management experience.
• Cosmetology license is a plus.
• Retail and/or selling experience in Fine Jewelry/Gemstones preferred.
• Strong selling and/or customer service experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, motivate, delegate, and demonstrate initiative and leadership.
• Proficiency in learning computer systems, POS registers, telxon, and interpreting reports.
• Availability to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
