About the role
The Retail Sales Manager (RSM) oversees the retail sales function at the franchise level. This includes managing the retail sales team, overseeing sales operations, and ensuring all orders are made on time.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the retail sales team
- Interview, hire, schedule, evaluate, coach, reward, and discipline subordinate employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work for all Retail Sales Supervisors (RSS)
- Conduct RSS employee evaluations
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Develop and maintain positive professional customer relationships
- Monitor all accounts to ensure proper service based on Buffalo Rock Company Policy
- Manage retail route sequencing and any rerouting that is required
- Coordinate and possibly assist with resets and new store openings
- Participate in Sales Meetings to communicate all pertinent information on sales support
- Contribute to the franchise’s “Strategic Planning” process
- Manage for each RSS/ADC arrival of materials from ROCKY
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Sales and Management Experience
- Valid state driver license with a good driving record
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ShareFile, OneNote, and OneDrive
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
