Fabletics is seeking a Full-Time Sales Lead for our Somerset Collection location in Troy, MI.
About the Role
As the Sales Lead, you will deliver a best-in-class retail customer experience while supporting sales and operations. You’ll use cutting-edge technology to create a seamless shopping experience between our website and retail stores. Working alongside the Store Manager, supervisors, and a team of associates, you’ll help customers live their passion. This role reports to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Embody our culture and values, providing customers with insights on how to live their passion.
- Engage customers meaningfully by sharing knowledge about product fabrics, features, fit, and function.
- Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
- Train and provide immediate feedback on our Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (e.g., Customer Engagement, Omnicart, Member Chat).
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.
- Communicate inventory and training needs to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to improve the customer’s purchase journey.
- Provide and nurture feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve business operations.
- Strive for excellence in meeting store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Serve as a resource for product knowledge to customers and team members.
- Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
- Uphold all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
- Unpack inventory boxes (weighing 10-30 lbs) as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of retail work experience; prior retail management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
- Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store.
- Experience working with large teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
- Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to bring out the best in others.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Physical Demands
- Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and grabbing, with the ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours.
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
