Retail Part-Time Store Associate, Fabletics (Somerset Collection - Troy, MI)

Fabletics is looking for Part-Time Store Associates to join our team at Somerset Collective in Troy, MI.

About the role

As a Store Associate, you will provide a best-in-class retail experience, helping customers shop seamlessly between our website and retail stores. You’ll work alongside the Store Manager, supervisors, and a team of energetic associates to help customers Live their Passion. This role requires a self-motivated, highly energetic individual who is comfortable engaging the public and contributing to a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Embody our culture and values while providing insight to customers on how to Live their passion.
• Engage customers by sharing knowledge about fabrics, features, fit, and function of our products.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to ensure a shoppable and valuable customer journey.
• Provide and act on feedback to continuously improve store operations and performance.
• Meet and exceed store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain personal sales goals and contribute to overall store sales targets.
• Uphold all safety and security standards and report potential issues.
• Unpack inventory boxes (weighing 10-30 lbs) as required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of or familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, or nutrition.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners in and outside the store.
• Experience working in large teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and grabbing.
• Standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
