Retail Sales Lead, Fabletics (Old Orchard - Skokie, IL)

About the role

Fabletics is seeking a Full-Time Sales Lead for its retail store at Old Orchard in Skokie, IL. This position reports to the Store Manager and plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Embody Fabletics' culture and values, providing insights to customers on how to live their passion.
• Engage customers actively in new and meaningful ways, offering knowledge about product fabrics, features, fit, and function.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Provide training and immediate feedback on the Customer Experience Playbook and other performance expectations.
• Work collaboratively with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store merchandising guidelines to make shopping easy and add value to the customer's purchase journey.
• Participate actively to provide and nourish feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve the business.
• Strive for excellence, meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales goals and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain all safety and security standards and identify potential issues.
• Unpack boxes for inventory as required, weighing up to 30 lbs.

Requirements

• 1-year minimum of work experience within a retail environment.
• Prior retail management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as Yoga, Cycling/Spin, Pilates, Weight Training, Running, Nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners inside and outside the store environment.
• Ability to work with large teams.
• Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A high degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
• Self-motivated, a good communicator with the ability to bring the best out in others.
• The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours, open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
