About the role

As a Sales Floor Leader, you will support the Store Manager in creating an excellent customer experience while driving sales and delivering on business goals. Lead daily operations, analyze sales trends, and develop action plans to drive top-line sales. Provide a strong leadership presence while enforcing all company policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consistently create a welcoming environment for customers by greeting, assisting, and selling; quickly respond to customer inquiries and needs.
• Provide strong leadership and control on the sales floor, ensuring all customers receive exceptional service.
• Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
• Achieve sales targets and maximize profitability through effective selling, merchandising, and upselling techniques.
• Partner with store support teams to increase sales, promote merchandise categories, and expand markets.
• Support the Store Manager in managing store expenses and budgets, including labor costs, supplies, and operational expenses.
• Utilize company tools to diagnose opportunities and develop action plans to improve store performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory management activities to minimize out-of-stock situations and overstocking.
• Support the Store Manager in training store staff, including providing feedback, coaching, and input on performance evaluations.
• Ensure all pricing, signage, and displays are correct at all times.
• Receive regular vendor deliveries and stock the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Control inventory stock levels and reorder as necessary within budget.
• Enforce all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience.
• Retail or hospitality management experience (preferred).
• Wine, spirits, and beer product knowledge (preferred).
• Ability to work full-time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to the sale of alcohol.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Pay

Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.

Glendale, CA Salary Range: USD $23–$31.65 per hour. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
