Retail Sales Floor Lead- Clienteling

About the role
As a Sales Floor Lead, Operations, you’ll help model meaningful customer experiences while supporting team success and driving showroom performance at our new Bellevue Store. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our brand-new location by establishing foundational operational processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and serving as a trusted Manager on Duty to keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.
Our store is located at Lincoln Square North, Bellevue, WA 98004, spanning 8,400 square feet. The team consists of 1 Store Manager, 2 Assistant Managers, 2 Sales Floor Leads, and 6-8 Home Experts (associates). The store is open 7 days per week: Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 8 pm, and Sunday, 11 am - 7 pm.
Responsibilities
- Customer Experience & Sales Execution:
- Model hospitality-first service on the sales floor, helping customers find the right solutions through deep product expertise.
- Actively participate in appointment-setting, customer follow-ups, and outreach to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer concerns, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Assist the team in meeting daily sales and outreach targets through positive energy and proactive lead generation.
- Daily Coordination & Peer Support:
- Lead brief team huddles focused on the day's sales goals, appointment schedules, and daily priorities.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty during designated shifts, managing opening/closing checklists, and keeping the team organized and on task.
- Support the onboarding of Home Experts by providing real-time tips, sharing best practices, and modeling service standards.
- Maintain floor presence as an accessible, trusted resource for the team throughout the day.
- Work directly under the Assistant Manager to help execute showroom initiatives and daily customer engagement strategies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, sales, customer service, or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Keyholder experience (e.g., Lead, Senior Associate, or Keyholder) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with, or a strong interest in, clienteling, appointment-based selling, or customer outreach.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems, basic CRM/clienteling tools, and retail technology.
- Outstanding communication skills with a natural ability to connect with people and build trust quickly.
- Open availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to frequently move throughout the showroom environment.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 30 lbs independently or with team assistance.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay
The starting hourly range is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Schedule
Interview and Onboarding Schedule:
- First Interview (August 24th - August 28th): A 30-minute video interview with our Talent Acquisition team.
- Final Interview (September 3rd - 4th): In-person interview with the new Store Manager.
- Start date: September 21st, 2026.
