Retail Sales Associate - Yard (West Location)

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Yard Associate to join our dynamic team in Great Falls, MT. You will play a crucial part in enhancing the customer experience by providing exceptional service, driving sales, and managing the store efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and generate sales
• Suggest products and merchandise the store
• Stock and organize the department
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Safeguard company assets
• Work flexible hours: Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, Sun 9 am to 5 pm, including weekends and holidays
• Work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks
• Work in various weather conditions throughout the shift
• May need forklift and propane certification (age 18+ required)
• May need to lift and carry items weighing up to 65 lbs.
• Work 100% on your feet, including using ladders, rolling staircases, and pallet jacks

Qualifications

• Willingness to share credit, work in a team environment, and define success collectively
• Drive to be dependable and perform well
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Effective communication skills and ability to engage with customers regularly
• Working knowledge of farm and ranch operations and fencing
• Previous merchandising experience is helpful
• Understanding of brand offerings and correct lifting and loading techniques
• Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 65 lbs.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
