Responsibilities

  • Greet teammates with a warm hello and help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
  • Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions.
  • Engage customers with a warm welcome, eye contact, and friendly, personal conversations to build relationships and encourage repeat visits.
  • Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves as needed.
  • Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have everything they need, and end each interaction with a sincere thank-you, often walking the package around and using the customer’s name.
  • Support colleagues with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
  • Strive to improve every day, take pride in your work, achieve sales goals, and learn from others to deliver individual and store results.

  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
  • Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
  • Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
  • Resourceful and eager to start new ventures and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently but thrive in team dynamics.
  • Comfortable handling electronic devices, including handheld equipment, cash registers, and processing transactions.

Essential physical requirements

  • Perform tasks requiring talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
  • Stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 25 lbs.; stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders; reach, including above eye level.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash registers, and processing register transactions.
