North 40 Outfitters in Havre, MT, is seeking a Full-Time Lawn & Garden Associate to join their team. They value authenticity, transparency, learning, trust, and delivering value to their customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Generate sales and suggest products
• Stock and merchandise the department
• Maintain a clean and organized department
• Safeguard company assets
• Work all scheduled shifts between Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm
• Be flexible with complicated and changing freight
• Have an interest in plants and gardening

Requirements

• Willingness to share credit, work with others, and define success collectively
• Drive to be dependable and perform well against expectations
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Committed to exceptional customer service
• Good communication skills for engaging with customers regularly
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of gardening, plants, chemicals, fertilizers, and soils is helpful
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Willingness to be cashier trained
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
• Previous merchandising experience is beneficial
• Understanding of North 40's product offerings
• Knowledge of correct lifting and loading techniques
• Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 55 lbs.
