Retail Sales Associate - FT

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and provide customer service per company standards (greet and acknowledge customers, demonstrate solid product knowledge, and deliver excellent service).
• Maintain the appearance of the selling floor.
• Perform marketing activities, including opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to meet company goals.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise; assist in receiving, folding, straightening, and replenishing stock.

Requirements

• Prior retail sales and/or customer service experience (preferred).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic math skills.
• Ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS register and telxon.
• Available to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
