Pay
$10.75 to $13.00 per hour plus commission. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $4.01 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

About the Role
We are seeking entry-level, full-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. This role partners with the entire store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. Associates greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions while assisting with inquiries and problem resolution. The position involves working with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answer incoming calls to company standards.
- Communicate the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
- Complete assigned training and other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work with customers and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan
