Retail Sales Associate - 2 Part-Time Position Available

About the role

The State Preservation Board (SPB) operates three unique Gift Shops and a Warehouse Fulfillment Center, all working together to support the preservation of Texas history and enrich the visitor experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with timely and friendly greetings.
• Promote and sell proprietary and custom products.
• Provide superior and reliable customer service.
• Ensure a welcoming, fun, and memorable environment for guests.
• Support the mission of preserving Texas history and enhancing the visitor experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including Tuesdays 10:30am - 5:15pm, Fridays 10:30am - 5:15pm, and Saturdays 9:30am - 5:15pm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new products and services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Tuesdays 10:30am - 5:15pm, Fridays 10:30am - 5:15pm, and Saturdays 9:30am - 5:15pm.
