Retail Sales Advisor - Part Time

As part of our Retail team, you’ll welcome customers into our North Shields store, help them find the perfect furniture for their home, and deliver a fantastic customer experience from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for people with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the store and support them in finding the perfect piece of furniture for their home
• Accurately complete customer orders and process finance applications
• Work towards individual sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service
• Work within the team to deliver a 5‑star customer experience
• Make sure the showrooms look their best through general housekeeping, cleaning and moving furniture when needed
• Help to make sure our showrooms are warm, friendly, safe environments for everyone
• Continuously develop and maintain knowledge on all poltronesofà products and services
• Undertake, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the role

Requirements

• Friendly, motivated people who enjoy working with customers and being part of a supportive team
• No previous furniture sales experience required
• Confident, friendly, enjoy helping customers and creating great experiences
• Love talking to people and take pride in delivering excellent service
• Sales driven with a passion for driving a 5‑star customer experience
• Experience within a customer‑facing role
• A real people person – ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Team player
• Flexibility to work shift patterns
• Strong work ethic, resilient, self‑starter and a can‑do attitude

Pay

Compensation: £10.85 – £12.71 per hour. Competitive hourly pay plus uncapped commission – many part‑time Retail Sales Advisors earn an additional £1,168.00 pro rata each month. Guaranteed commission of £400 pro rata per month in your first three months.

Schedule

Part‑time hours designed to fit around study, family life, or other commitments – 32 hours per week across 4 days.
